WORKSHOPS / DETAILS

Evelyn Blumenau and Walter Kreuz, Audio-Art, Oral and Written Compositions,
July 18, 19, 20, 2014

Audio-Art, Oral and Written Compositions

In our audio-workshop, we deal with written compositions, artistic audio-recordings and speech-experiments. The participants are invited to create audio pieces or audio book modules. At the travelling studio, all scenes will be recorded
with their own voices, involving sounds or responding to sounds of the surroundings as well.

Elisabeth Wörndl, Inner landscapes: Wood, digital photography,
July 11, 12, 13, 2014

Inner landscapes: Wood

You can recognize within the silence of the woods (inner and outer) appearances, which at first sight cannot be identified. To the philosopher Heidegger the wood was a metaphor for the real. In this workshop you can approach the wood metaphorically or rather in a performative way … Together we develop and discuss different ways of seeing through an exchange of knowledge (please bring your own digital camera, card reader and laptop). Recommended literature: Robert Walser „The walk“.

Ursula Baatz, MBSR Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction / intercultural philosophy,
July 21, 22, 23, 2014

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is a tool for all kinds of situations. Conflicts are useful although usually they create troubles: they can provoke change and growth, as soon as the hidden creative potential is being recognized and realized. The philosopher, focusing on questions rather than giving answers, with her intercultural and interreligious engagement, has been practising Zen for a long time. The workshop with her offers participants professional Mindfulness training (MBSR Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) and if required, individual coaching.

Project art:

The idiom „To be nursing an idea“ triggers this dialogue around art affairs. As soon as one‘s own thinking and seeing grows to a certain intensity this can then evoke a poetical range of things. Personal coaching with the project-artist involves examples of her own art-experience and multifold activity and thus can stimulate others in decision-making. Also, if you choose to start art-studies at a university (advice on selection of artworks for entries).
